Description

Small family production machine shop looking for CNC Mill operator.
_ 4 DAY WORK WEEK - NO EVENINGS OR WEEKENDS PTO, $23 per hour/40 hours a week.

Duties:

Load material/parts in and out of CNC Mill to run production orders.
Interpret simple dimensions from Blueprints and perform in process inspection.
Minor program changes, mainly tool offsets.
Record inspection data.
Deburr parts as needed.
Replacement of worn or damaged tools (inserts, end mills, drills, etc).
Empty machine of chips and add fluids as necessary.
May be required to saw cut raw stock to size. Preparing tools and tool holders for new operation.

Qualifications:

4+ years CNC machine shop operating experience.
Basic math skills.
Ability to stand and operate machine for hours at a time.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints on a variety of part types.
Ability to fill out inspection reports.

- (Optional) FADAL experience is a plus.
- (Optional)

Extensive setup experience is a huge plus.

- (Optional) GibbsCAM software programming experience is a plus.
- (Optional) Ability to set up, program, and run simple jobs from a blueprint via writing G-code at the machine is a huge plus. (Optional) CNC Lathe experience is a plus, especially Mazak.
