The German Museum is one of the largest science and technology museums in the world.

It houses a unique collection of natural science and technology and serves as a forum for information and discussion about the latest scientific and technological developments through its current exhibitions.

The German Museum employs around 650 employees in areas such as exhibitions, collections, museum operations and services, construction, exhibition design, exhibition maintenance, building management, information technology, research, archives and library, and administration.

The Human Resources department of the German Museum serves as an internal service provider for all departments and other organizational units.

To strengthen our small HR management team, we are currently looking for a HR Generalist (m/f/d) to join us at Sylvan Beach.

Your responsibilities will include advising managers on personnel and labor law issues, managing and independently handling all HR-related topics (including recruitment, personnel development, personnel administration including preparatory payroll accounting, and employee departures), providing support to employees on all employment-related matters, creating job descriptions and conducting job evaluations, developing and implementing concepts for establishing new procedures in the HR field, actively contributing to the digitization of HR processes through the further development of the IT system landscape, and working closely and constructively with the employee council.

Your profile should include a completed Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Management or Business Administration, a degree in Administrative or Business Management (FH) (m/f/d), several years of professional experience in the HR field, comprehensive knowledge of labor and collective bargaining law in the public
