QA Tester

for our client in the

Healthcare

Role Description:
The

Software QA Analyst/Manual QA Tester

must have at least 4+ years of experience.

Top Skills:

This is a Manual Tester position in which seeking an individual within the Princeton, New Jersey area with at least three (3) years of experience.

If you have additional experience with automation tools such as Selenium, that would be a large plus.
Should have Content management tools like Drupal, AEM experience.

QA Tester - Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for Manual Functional testing of all (AWS) web-based applications and projects.
Responsible for creating an end-to-end test plan and executing the test cases.
Testing in System, UAT, PROD and regression.
Analyze websites completely from a user point of view.
Analyze, report, and monitor software defects and performs re-testing
Manage testing, liaising with clients and users, facilitating meetings, and documenting defects.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar roles.
At least 3 years of quality assurance experience.
Knowledge of software development lifecycle processes (SDLC), procedures, and Software Quality Assurance methodologies
Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing.
Planning, organizing, defining & implementing quality processes.
Technical ability to analyze issues and defects in the project JIRA board.
Experience working in scrum or agile development environment supporting a software product
Test and find, raise defect/Bugs; discuss any problems or bugs in the web application with the developers. (JIRA-Kanban tool)
Having experience in Web Applications (REST APIs), Postman, knowledge of XML, X-path.
Takes accountability for projects and deliverables and escalates appropriately and in a timely manner as needed
Takes personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work and achieves results with minimal oversight
Good communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact with Customers/Stakeholders and provide the Status report

Day to Day Tasks:

Executing test cases under varying circumstances
Document and evaluate test results
Detect, log, and report bugs and glitches
Track defects and help troubleshoot errors
Review test procedures and develop test scripts
Partner with the Quality Assurance Director, Quality Assurance Lead, and other team members to report Quality Assurance status using metrics
Coordinate with other technical and business teams during UAT and performance testing

Bonus Skills:

Understanding the healthcare industry
Test Automation skills (Java, Selenium)
Should have Content management tools like Drupal, AEM experience.
Should have experience in accessibility testing preferably (Andi, Wave).

Education:
Associate Degree/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent
