Role:
Operations Analyst

Location: 101 S. Broad Street, Trenton, NJ

Shift timing: 9am - 5pm

Lunch Break: 1 hour (unpaid)

Rate:
$ 35.00 /hr. on w2 without benefits

3 + Months Contract


Performs the analysis and evaluation of internal operations, business practices, and techniques for the Division of Disaster Recovery and Mitigation (DRM) to determine optimal business solutions.

Develops training materials and conducts training sessions. Participates in administrative planning and assists in introducing new techniques/methods to improve the division. Formulates and recommends policies and procedures.

Required to utilize various types of electronic and/or manual recording and information system used by the agency, office, or related units.

Required to create and update Word, Excel, PDF, Adobe, and PowerPoint documents. Performs other related duties as required.


Knowledge and Abilities:


  • Knowledge of provisions of policy guidance/assistance in preparation of schedules outlining essential steps to be taken in installation and/or conversion to data processing systems
  • Ability to review operating procedures and provide advice/assistance to state department officials on matters pertaining to operating requirements, fiscal procedures, and budget requests
  • Ability to maintain records and files

$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience:


  • Fiscal management: 3 years (preferred)
