JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for assisting the operations function in any special projects/tasks as assigned.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform other workrelated tasks as assigned.
  • Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.

FACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creates and monitors contractual agreements between FM 529 and the suppliers.
  • Knowledge /aware of current NOV contractual policies that are related to contracts.
  • Mindful of current U.S. contractual laws and regulations; when outdated laws and regulations are changed or otherwise modified.
  • Enters orders received from internal and external customers.
  • Manages order entry meetings and corresponding job numbers for software requirements for engineering.
  • Hosts meetings with production to ensure deliveries are met and expediting.
  • Works to manage on time delivery percentage with production and warehouse.
  • Maintains records in accordance with SOP. Other tasks as required by management.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two years of industrial / oil & gas contracts experience.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Exposed to loud noise while in the warehouse.
  • Exposed to moving parts while on the shop floor.
  • Limited/no travel required outside of the FM 529 facility.
  • Works in warehouse/shop floor environment setting 10% of the day, 90% of the day in spent at a computer in an office.
  • Exposed to occasional hot and/or cold weather depending on outside climate conditions and warehouse temperature since the shop floor is neither airconditioned nor heated.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

  • Excellent technical skills in cost analysis.
  • Uses company software to include Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Rig Office, JDA & Oracle.
