We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team at St. Symphorosa School.

As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and educational environment for young children.

Duties:

• Create and implement ageappropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development in areas such as math, literacy, and social skills
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel safe, supported, and encouraged to explore and learn
• Provide individualized attention and support to students to meet their unique needs and abilities
• Utilize effective classroom management techniques to ensure a productive and engaging learning environment
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to plan and coordinate activities, events, and parent communication
• Monitor student progress, assess learning outcomes, and provide feedback to parents/guardians
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance

Experience:

• Previous experience working in a preschool or daycare setting is preferred
• Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with young children

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Illinois PEL preferred

Pay:
$36, $42,000.00 per year
