Job Summary

Responsibilities:


  • Manage Guest Experience, greeting and checking in guests
  • Maintain awareness at all times of groups in house, VIP's, and special requests
  • Make reservations efficiently and accurately in the system, noting any special requests
  • Always maintain guest privacy
  • Be well informed about property services and hours of operation to share with guests
  • Be able to provide accurate directions to the hotel
  • Be familiar with the surrounding area of the hotel
  • Forward any necessary requests for additional packages or travel plans to the concierge team
  • Always maintain a warm and friendly demeanor
  • Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner
  • Perform other duties as requested by leadership
  • Perform any other jobrelated duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


  • Opera Cloud experience preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of group rooms coordinator, sales coordinator or front desk experience preferred
  • Experience in luxury hotels or a related field preferred
  • Must be able to communicate fluently in English for both written and verbal communications
  • Proficiency with computer systems
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule is required

Education and Experience Requirements

  • High school or equivalent education required. Bachelors degree preferred.

Policy and Service Responsibility

  • Must adhere to all hotel loss prevention guidelines

Physical Requirements

  • Able to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative productivity standards.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state and local standards.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs
  • Must be able to stand at least 60%
  • Must be able to sit and squat frequently
