    Description
    Entech Staffing Solutions is searching for a qualified and experienced Controller who can lead all aspects of the Finance Department. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing valuable insights to support strategic decision-making. This is a direct hire opportunity

    Responsibilities:
    • Manage all financial functions, including cost and general accounting activities, product costing, and capacity planning.
    • Analyze operating costs and variances to identify areas for improvement.
    • Maintain and improve various accounting systems to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
    • Develop and manage the annual budget and forecast.
    • Prepare special studies and projects in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Supervise accounting staff and provide guidance and support.
    • Manage payroll systems, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.
    • Participate in the Management Team, contributing to planning, budgeting, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Maintain audit documentation and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
    • Work directly with external auditors to facilitate the audit process.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required.
    • Five to eight years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
    • Strong understanding of financial analysis, cost accounting, general accounting, and manufacturing accounting principles.
    • Experience with standard cost accounting and budgeting processes.
    • Excellent supervisory, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Preferred: Accounting/professional designation (CPA, CMA, etc.)
    • Knowledge of MRP systems a plus.
    • Proficient in computer applications and with advanced Excel skills.
    Other Requirements:
    • Leadership skills and the ability to share and transfer knowledge effectively.
    • Dependable, self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic.
    • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to make sound decisions based on information and analysis.
    • Strong math and computer skills required.
