Description

Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate/Review all Test Documents including Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMPs), Test Procedures, Integrated Evaluation Framework and all applicable Operational Test Forces Touch Points.
  • Schedule/maintain weekly review of all T&E schedules with Senior T&E Engineer and T&E Director including all Light Weight Torpedo (LWT) and Heavy Weight Torpedo (HWT) upcoming test events and inwater runs.
  • Prepare summary of results of all test events for the Senior Test Engineer.
  • Coordinate all environmental requirements with Naval Undersea Warfare Center in support for all test events and inwater runs and route the Memorandum for the Record for approval.
  • Coordinate all Working Integrate Product Team (WIPT) meetings for both LWT and HWT to including meeting minutes and tracking all meeting action items.
  • Attend all T&E related meetings including Quarterly Program Reviews, Advance Tactics Working Groups, and WIPTs.

Education and Experience:


  • BA/BS degree, 5+ years professional experience in supporting the US Navy conducting indepth analysis.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (including Microsoft Excel).
  • Familiarity with T&E processes.
  • Active Secret DoD Clearance.
  • Experience accessing Classified documents via SIPR.

Desired Education and Experience:


  • Ability to multitask, as well as working with tight deadlines.
  • Familiar with Requirement definition process and the ability to derive testable information from requirements.
  • Familiar with the relationship between system requirements and TEMPS with the roles of different agencies including Director of Test and Evaluation, Operational Test Command, Navy N94 Test and Evaluation Directorate, and the Warfare Centers.

Work Location:
Vicinity of Washington Navy Yard. Telework options for 1-2 days per week after all initial onboarding and team integration is completed (estimated 2-4 months).


Travel:
Up to 20%
