Carmela Gourmet Toast & Coffee Bar is a casual-dining coffee bar, consisting of ten locations in Broward and Palm Beach Counties.

We are currently seeking self-motivated individuals to join our growing team.

We are seeking hard working individuals who share our passion for the coffee and providing a great Guest service while serving our freshly roasted coffee and our Toast, salads, sandwiches, bowls..., our menu and concept.

This position will be responsible for providing quick and efficient service to customers in a fast-paced environment. Duties will include greeting Guests, serving food, stocking counters, and completing transactions on point of sale system.

With training, you will become a product knowledge expert and be able to clearly communicate Carmela's product offerings to guests in a friendly and non-pretentious manner.

Training will also be provided for preparing and serving specialty coffee drinks in accordance with Carmela's standards for quality and consistency.

As part of a team, this position will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the facilities including, but not limited to, cleaning of serving counters, floors, equipment, bathrooms, trash removal, cleaning customer areas, and other duties as assigned.

• Be proactive and always find things to do
• Follow all Carmela policies and procedures including health, safety and sanitation guidelines

This position will require previous experience handling cash and working in a fast-paced customer facing position (i.e Barista, Cashier, Server, Hostess, Shift supervisor and Key Holder).

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time.
