Schedule :32 hours/week Part-Time/Evenings

Position Summary:

The Nursing Supervisor is a professional nurse who is responsible for coordination and supervision of patient care on multiple nursing units and departments on the evening, night and weekend shifts.

He/she works closely with Clinical Managers and others to ensure that high quality, timely service is provided to all patients.

Required Knowledge & Skills : 5 years Staff Nurse experience including Charge Nurse responsibilities. Leadership experience required. Must be able to demonstrate the clinical knowledge and skills necessary to oversee the provision of care to patients ranging in age from infancy to geriatrics

Education :
BS/BSN degree or enrolled in a BSN program; MS preferred

Experience :
Requires previous RN experience

Certification/Licensure :
MA RN license, BLS, ACLS Required

Software/Hardware :
Meditech Experience Preferred

Our Safe and Ready program consists of a rigorous [five-point] standard ensuring patient safety, confidence and convenience: Expanded hours will allow previously cancelled procedures to be scheduled as quickly as possible.

Any COVID-19 related care takes place in designated areas away from other patients and their families. Emergency Departments are reorganized to be a safe place to treat all emergency patients. A stringent cleaning policy has been implemented throughout the hospital. A strictly controlled visitor and masking policy is required for patient safety.
