    Description

    Northwell Health's Hospice Care Network, a Joint Commission accredited not-for-profit healthcare organization, seeks an enthusiastic physician to join a well-respected Hospice program as a Hospice Physician in Long Island, NY. We are open to BC/BE Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Palliative Medicine, and Geriatric Medicine Physicians, with a preference for Board Certified Geriatric and/or Palliative Medicine trained physicians. Practice comprehensive end-of-life care, in a high quality and professional environment.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Conduct home and telemedicine visits
    • Collaboration with hospice interdisciplinary teams
    • Provide pain and symptom management
    • Weeknight and weekend coverage on an on-call schedule
    • Direct and indirect patient care each day
    • Opportunities to engage in quality improvement, research, and/or medical education for those interested

      Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125K to $750K, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience, and productivity.
