FORM Hand, Wrist and Elbow Institute is seeking an individual with great customer service skills, accountability, diligence and accuracy to join our team.

You will work closely with the team to ensure a high-quality experience for all patients.


_Responsibilities_

  • Duties consist of insurance verifications, obtaining authorizations as needed, scheduling appointments and assists with billing.
  • Assists with answering telephones, compiling and filing of charts. Reviews charts before clinic to be sure all reports are current, present and filed correctly.
  • Assists patients, the doctor and other staff as needed.
  • Attends meetings and Participates in education programs and in service meetings as required.
  • Communicates effectively with all levels of staff. Fosters the development of teamwork within the department while meeting the needs of the department.
  • Performs related tasks and assignments as needed.

Education, experience and skills required for consideration**:_

  • Must be available to work during the weekday peak hours, (8:00 am 5:00 pm)
  • Timely, reliable, responsible and committed to longterm employment
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced environment

_Minimum Education:
_


  • High School graduate or Equivalent, some college preferred.

License/Certification: BLS

  • Basic Life Support

_Minimum Experience:
_


  • 12 years previous experience as a Medical Office assistant in a medical office setting is highly preferred.
