Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.


Duties:

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring efficient and smooth operations
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
• Xrays
• Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures, including passing instruments, suctioning, and providing patient education
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficiency in taking dental Xrays and operating Xray equipment
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and dental practice management software (Dentrix)
• Strong communication skills and ability to provide excellent patient care
• Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions from the dentist

Pay:
$ $25.00 per hour


Experience:

• Dental assisting: 2 years (preferred)

License/Certification:

• X-Ray Certification (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• New York, NY required)

Ability to Relocate:

• New York, NY 10038: Relocate before starting work (required)
