Business Management Branch (BMB) is seeking a motivated individual to work as a Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) located in downtown Sacramento.
contract development of unique or specialty contracts for CDFW including contracts supporting the Forest Health Initiative, contracts requiring additional or unique levels of review and approval such as Non-Competitive Bids or Request for Proposals, and ongoing mission critical programs such as the Nutria Eradication Program; Incumbent must have strong written communication skills to develop written policies, procedures, and draft memorandums for a CDFW-wide audience; In a backup capacity, the incumbent will develop, process, and resolve the most complex/sensitive issues regarding all purchasing within the Section's purview; Provide presentations, guidance, and training to program staff on an informal and formal basis.
Essential functions include performing the most complex administrative activities related to processing and executing contracts.We are seeking an individual with a strong desire to learn routine and detailed work, a capacity for accelerated learning, an eagerness to take on challenging work assignments, and a willingness and ability to accept increasing responsibility.

Incumbent is expected to work during business hours with flexibility to work both remotely and in office.
Incumbent is expected to work onsite, in the office, a minimum of eight (8) full business days per month, possibly more, as determined by business needs.
Work hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.Ability to use a computer keyboard several hours a day. Involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods. Attend meetings and hearings; work with staff statewide to complete work assignments.
