    The Role

    As a Team Leader for our Battery Associates, you'll support a portion of the assembly line (module, sub-assembly or final assembly).

    This includes training the team, scaling production to ensure business needs are met, ensuring delivery of high-quality products and keeping all employees safe.


    What you'll do:
    Support the supervisor by leading the day to day, tactical activities for the manufacturing line
    Provide leadership to team members by ensuring all tools and materials are ready prior to shift start
    Ensure all production related concerns or issues are communicated effectively to supervisor and management
    Provide training to new employees as required
    Be ready to provide coverage for team member absenteeism
    Recommend and implement initiatives that improve safety, quality or productivity.
    Support the supervisor to implement and sustain a 5S culture and work environment

    Skills to be successful:
    Minimum 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
    Knowledge in various manufacturing processes (mechanical assembly, electrical assembly, fabrication, welding, painting, and support functions)
    Proven ability to lead people and support change
    Good with hands and tools, not afraid to roll up sleeves
    Ability to work various shifts as well as overtime hours
    Able to lift 25 pounds and up to 50 pounds in controlled environments
