York Avenue Day School is seeking a part-time assistant teacher for an immediate start time. We are looking for dedicated educators for positions working with children in our Infant Class. Hours are from 2:15pm to 6:15pm, Monday through Friday.Requirements for Assistant Teacher:
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood (preferred), Associate's Degree, or minimum some college credits
- Minimum two years of experience in an Early Childhood setting
- At least 21 years of age
York Avenue Day School is located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. We are an all-day school, serving children ages 6 months through Pre-K.
Our mission is to provide a warm, safe and child-centered environment that encourages positive self-esteem, self-discovery, social interaction and active learning for young children.
