Description

Peabody Properties seeks an experienced Maintenance/Cleaner to join its team at an apartment community in Cumberland, RI.

The Maintenance/Cleaner role is to assist the site Management Team with the efficient operation of the property.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Maintaining a high level of cleanliness in the building's common areas and other assigned areas.
Janitorial and grounds care.
Performs work orders, including snow/ice removal.
Unit turns and other assignments from Service and Property Manager.
Maintains exterior grounds according to company standards.

Requirements of the Position:

Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
Ability to take initiative and be selfmotivated.
Excellent customer service skills a must.
Reliable vehicle required to fulfill essential duties of the job.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Education and Experience:

Requires High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 3 years of previous cleaning, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical experience.
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal and problemsolving abilities
Highly responsible & reliable
Ability to work cohesively as part of a team.
