    One of our clients is seeking a Wellness and Recovery Specialist to provide service in the Hartford, CT area.

    CLIENT HOURS

    • Full Schedule Mon - Fri 8:30am - 4:30pm
    SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY

    • Provide full range of community and social support services to assigned individuals
    • Complete rehabilitation assessment and complete/update recovery plans
    • Track and report requirements for outcomes and evaluations
    • Possess a high level of ability to motivate participants in the health and wellness program
    • Teach members about managing mental and physical health, provide individual health coaching to participants
    • Ensure provision of safety with all participants and equipment in center
    • Provide transportation to clients as appropriate utilizing personal vehicle for agency business
    CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor's Degree in behavioral health field required
    • One year experience with personal training / health and wellness programming
    • Certification in personal training or other national group fitness instruction certification
    • Experience with substance abuse and mental health counseling
    • Bi-lingual, Spanish preferred
    • Good communication and documentation skills
    • Computer literacy for tracking and documentation of outcomes
    • Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, current registration and insurance
