Job Summary:
Provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all of our guests.

Each server's primary objective is to show our guests such a marvelous time; they will want to return again and again.



Essential Job Functions:


  • Obtain/Maintain Food Protection Certificate (a.k.a. "Food Handler's License")
  • Obtain/Maintain Alcohol Awareness Certification.
- ƒTake all patrons' orders and be sure to explain how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods when inquired.

  • Serve food and/or beverages to patrons.
  • Frequently check with patrons to ensure they are enjoying their meals and take corrective action should any issues arise.
  • Clean and maintain restaurant area including but not limited to wiping up spills, clearing/cleaning tables, removing trash and washing serving equipment.
  • Return reusable food supplies and equipment to storage.
  • Take inventory of food, beverages and supplies needed for each day.
- ƒRestock self-service food and supplies as needed.

  • Clean and organize tables and counters as tables are vacated.
  • Prepare checks that itemize and total meal costs and sales taxes.
  • Post meal charges and make cash, credit card or coupon payments as needed.
  • Complete end of shift task list in a timely manner
  • Use correct cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces according to OSHA regulations and hotel requirements.

Guest Service:

  • Provide personalized service to all guests.
- ƒAssists in maintaining guest service as the driving philosophy of the hotel.

  • Demonstrate a commitment to guest service by responding promptly to guest needs with interest and concern.
