JOB TITLE:
Applications Developer


SUMMARY:


Future expansion of the role may entail oversite of our IT systems and platforms, while looking for ways to grow and interconnect various systems in a cost-effective way to meet future needs.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Working with our outsourced programmers, become an expert on the MSR-FSR proprietary shop control software so that coding can be selfperformed
  • Meet regularly with company management to review the priorities list for coding modifications and report on progress.
  • Work closely with hosting companies and software providers to integrate systems with the company systems
  • Analyze, recommend, and implement network/data security protocols and systems
  • Work with the production floors to understand system limitations and improvements needed from the enduser perspective.
  • Identify the need for upgrades, configurations, or new systems and report to upper management

Position Requirements:


  • Ability to work in the US
  • Occasional travel to MSR-FSR facilities
  • Working knowledge of:
  • Language: Typescript / JavaScript
  • Front End Framework: Angular
  • Backend: Amazon API Gateway, AWS Lambda, NodeJS, AWS Step Functions
  • Database: Amazon DynamoDB
  • Education or experience in computer science / programming
  • Excellent organizational skills and time management.
  • Outstanding communication abilities
  • Comprehensive understanding of network architecture and client/server technology
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills required.
