- A bachelor's or higher-level degree with 15 semester credit hours in computer science.
- A bachelor's or higher-level degree in any field along with one year of experience in information technology; or 60 semester credit hours with 15 semester credit hours in computer science and one year of professional experience in information technology.
- Two years of professional experience in information technology.
- Designing and building advanced applications for iOS and Android platforms.
- Reviewing applications with Object Oriented Programming structures.
- Developing NoSQL and Relational databases for mobile devices.
- Collaborating with teams to define and design new features.
- Working with data sources and APIs to support mobile applications for state agencies.
- Conducting unit testing and code reviews for application reliability.
- Providing production support and enhancing application performance.
- Contributing to Continuous Improvement / Continuous Delivery efforts for efficient development and support.

Duties Description:
Under the supervision of an Information Technology Specialist 3 Programming, this role involves collaborating with various technical teams on mobile applications and proofs of concept using cutting-edge technologies. The Mobile team supports internal and public application systems for multiple client agencies, including the Department of Agriculture and Markets, the Office of Parks, Recreation, & Historical Preservation, the Department of State, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and more.
