Job Description

Bond Consultants is a dynamic firm that provides professional employment services to many people with different backgrounds and skills. One of our clients, Global manufacturing firm, is currently looking for a Staff Accountant. This position is direct hire, hybrid, and pays $65-70K (BOE).

Tasks & Responsibilities:

Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process
Collect outstanding receivables daily, escalating additional collection efforts when required
Prioritize and communicate receivable issues to proper department for resolution
Analyze and update data in outstanding list
Investigate and resolve issues interfering with resolution of cash receipts
Provide follow up on identified issues and discrepancies
Meet all deadlines during the cash application process
Prepare, maintain, and provide financial reports for management
Verify accounts against ledgers and databases
Process journal entries an reconcile bank statements
Review and balance internal accounts, analyze variances
Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned

Qualifications and Requirements:

Associate's degree in accounting or related field
5+ years of proven accounting experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office with aptitude to learn new systems
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
