    Description
    Growing firm is seeking a technically sound Controller to manage and oversee the accounting function.

    The firm is relocating their headquarters to Nashville and is still looking for an office space but they expect to go in on a hybrid basis.

    Primary Responsibilities:
    • Manage the day to day financial operations including but not limited to AP, AR, Invoicing, and maintaining the general ledger.
    • Prepare monthly financial statements and closings for multiple entities.
    • Maintain property, equipment and depreciation schedules.
    • Prepare WIP and commissions reports.
    • Prepare payroll tax returns and sales tax reporting.


    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
    • Minimum 3 years experience in construction accounting or finance.
    • Strong excel and experience and picks up software's quickly.
    • Must work well independently.
