YOUR WORKPLACE

Our St. Elisabeth senior center is located in the heart of the old town of Ebern. The facility is connected to the historic building of the old Julius-Pfründner hospital and the hospital church, giving it a special charm.

With our approximately 80 employees, we care for 64 elderly people in need of care.

YOUR TASKS

Starting on September 1st, we are looking for you to join our senior home for a voluntary social year (FSJ) or federal voluntary service (BFD).

During your voluntary service, you will be accompanied by our experienced professionals. In addition, you will exchange ideas with other volunteers in educational seminars and learn a lot about the social sector.

You can complete your FSJ or BFD in either the care or support area. It is also possible to switch after half of the time, so that you gain insight into both areas. If you wish, you can also arrange a trial day to get a feel for the work.

Your tasks in the support area:

In support, you are a companion for our residents in their daily lives. You do not perform any nursing tasks, but support with daily activities such as conversations, walks, or games. You also help organize events and weekly activities. Your ideas are always welcome. You are also
