- Safely administer appropriate radiotherapy treatments to patients.
- Operate the medical equipment utilized for radiotherapy.
- Maintain regular upkeep of the medical equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Keep precise records of each patient's treatment plan.
- Collaborate with clinical oncologists and physicians to develop tailored treatment strategies for patients.
- Engage in performance enhancement initiatives within the department.
- Regularly sanitize the patient treatment area.
- Mandatory possession of an active Basic Life Support (CPR) certification.
- Additional assigned duties.
- Hold a radiation oncology certificate and an associate degree in radiation therapy technology.
- Certified in radiation therapy (RT(T)) by ARRT.
- Must be licensed in California.
- Basic life support certification.
