**Environmental, Health and Safety Manager**
Yuma, AZ / Gowan MIlling Environmental Health & Safety / Regular, Full Time The EHS manager will lead all Environmental and Safety program development and program execution. **Job Duties:**
+ **Lead team managing internal EHS Programs:**
+ Safety coordinator
+ Environmental Operations Supervisor
+ **Lead regulatory communication.**
+ **Assure all state and federal regulatory reporting is completed.**
+ **Research, analyze, and interpret State and Federal regulation pertaining to plant operations.**
+ **Ensure site compliance requirements are met.**
+ **Develops and implements continuous improvement initiatives to improve EHS metrics.**
+ **Forecast and adhere the departmental financial budget.**
+ **Lead customer and regulatory audits.**
+ **Work with environmental consultants on all applicable permitting.**
+ **Represent Gowan Milling in all EHS aspects.**
**Desired Skills & Qualifications:**
+ EHS or related degree.
+ Experience working with crop protection products in a manufacturing setting.
+ Experience working with ADEQ, EPA, and ADOSH.
+ Experience managing waste and hazardous waste operations.
+ Experience managing safety programs in a fast paced manufacturing facility.
+ Experienced managing workers compensation programs.
+ Experience managing Industrial hygiene programs.
+ Understanding of process safety programs such as PSM, DHA, PHA, RMP and MOC.
+ Experience managing environmental programs such as FIFRA Production reporting, Tier II Reporting, Hazardous waste reporting, Air Permit, Toxic Release inventory, Arizona pollution prevention plan, Zero discharge permit, and SPCC plan.
+ Ability to review technical information to identify potential hazards and develop safe operating procedures.
+ Ability to communicate effectively verbally and written.
**Physical Requirements:**
+ On call position
+ Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
+ Ability to ascend/descend stairs in buildings.
+ Requires ability to lift items up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
+ Requires frequent bending, reaching, squatting, pulling, and pushing.
+ Ability to work outdoors throughout the year in extreme temperatures.
