- Performs manual cleaning of the assigned building by the foreman.
- Sweeps, mops, scrubs, buffs, and waxes floors; dusts and cleans chalkboards and erasers; washes windows, walls, and blinds; and empties trash cans. Dusts general areas.
- Cleans large public areas such as football stadium, basketball coliseum, baseball field, and Bennett Auditorium and grounds after events.
- Helps the foreman and lead person when responding to emergency situations during and after hours. Emergency situations may include; property damage, personal injury, water leaks, flooding, overflowing restroom fixtures, broken window or door glass, and accidents resulting in the appearance of bodily fluids (blood, vomit waste, and urine).
- Must be able to show knowledge on the following types of equipment: wet vacuum, and pressure washer.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of University policies and procedures, professional standards and regulations.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and procedures, and the use of custodial materials, tools, equipment, and chemicals.
- Skill in managing ones' own time while completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.
- Ability to listen to, understand, and follow instructions.
- Ability to handle difficult and stressful situations with professional composure.
- Ability to react and respond quickly and calmly in emergency situations.
- Ability to establish and maintain a good rapport with university faculty and staff, students, and the general public.
- Ability to work successfully as a member of a team and independently with moderate supervision.
- Ability to operate personal computer with a general understanding of application software, and an understanding of the internet.
- Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary.

Job Summary
Performs manual cleaning of the assigned building by the foreman from 10pm to 6:30am Sun-Th.
Uses proper methods and materials in cleaning and care for the building area and equipment, participates in the care, cleaning, and general housekeeping of the buildings that is assigned, completing all task (football, baseball, work orders, etc.) assigned by the foreman.
