Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Assistant Vice President of Human Resources, the Director of Human Resources is involved in the entire employee life cycle: talent acquisition, engagement, development, performance, separation, company policy and legal compliance.
Key responsibility areas include**:
- Manage the talent acquisition process for
Borger Residential Services:
execute the full recruiting cycle process; develop and maintain accurate and effective position descriptions for current and anticipated openings; partner with company recruiters on college and career fairs.
Responsible for the internship program.- Primary point of contact for employee relations matters. Offer disciplinary guidance to managers, conduct investigations, and provide coaching/conflict resolution when appropriate.
- Partner with managers to improve the quality and delivery of both performance reviews and regular feedback. Identify competency, knowledge and talent gaps, and build solutions to address these.
- Liaison with the Company's professional employer organization (PEO) to effectively and efficiently administer company health and welfare programs, payroll, leaves of absence, training and compliance.
- Ensure compliance with federal and local employment laws and manages the company's leave management, Workers' Compensation, and OSHA processes.
- Provide backup support on all HR administrative tasks, such as background checks, drug testing, onboarding, orientation, benefits enrollment and administration, FMLA and COBRA correspondence. Will also provide backup support for payroll administration.
- Create engaging HR communications to advise employees about benefit programs, policies and procedures, and other vital information.
- Assist the Corporate HR team to plan leadership and management development and training programs that support division goals and succession planning processes. Manage the online training platform; assign training modules, track participation and completion, follow up with employees and managers on incomplete assignments.
- Participate in compensation and benefit surveys and share results with management.
- Roll up the sleeves and pitch in on other HR department projects, such as wellness, engagement and inclusion & diversity initiatives.
Travel to local work sites, as needed for site visits, employee investigations, in-person meetings or career fairs, may be required.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this position, you should have:
