    Description

    We are seeking an experienced and strategic-minded Director of Finance to lead our finance department and drive the firm's financial strategy and operations.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Oversee all aspects of financial management, including general and partnership accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, cash management, debt covenant reporting and internal controls.
    • Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with department heads and senior management to establish financial goals and performance metrics.
    • Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making, including revenue forecasting, expense management, and profitability analysis.
    • Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules.
    • Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, legal regulations, and industry trends, and make recommendations for process improvements and operational efficiencies.

    Job Qualifications:

    • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Aderant, Chrome River) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
    • 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role, preferably in a law firm or professional services environment.
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification preferred.
