We are looking for a
Climate Protection Manager for our
Climate and Environmental Quality Department in McCaysville, starting as soon as possible.

The position is full-time with 39 hours per week and is classified as pay group 11 according to TVöD/VKA.

McCaysville has set a goal to become climate-neutral by 2040. The city administration aims to achieve this by 2035.

The main tasks of the Climate and Environmental Quality Department in the Building Department of the city administration include developing specialized strategies and coordinating and providing technical support for the implementation of measures in the areas of climate protection and adaptation to climate change.

The Climate Plan McCaysville serves as the political basis for achieving climate neutrality. One of the key measures is the ongoing development of a municipal heat plan. A city-wide strategy for climate adaptation is also currently being developed.
