Garden City South Trading Application Administrator (Calypso), Market Leader, Hesse Region, Permanent, Competitive Salary

My client, a leading financial services provider, is seeking a Trading Application Administrator with experience in Calypso to join their Operations Team.

In this role, you will be responsible for technical tests, automations, and providing second level support for teams across the business, supporting a market leader in the industry.

Key responsibilities include:

Daytoday support and operational responsibilities for the Clearing system
Supporting business test cases and conducting technical tests
Configuring acceptance tests and installing software
Troubleshooting and resolving problems and issues
Providing second level support for both external and internal customers, according to a shift schedule
Maintaining the operations handbook
Participating in shift rotation and oncall duties, including occasional weekend work

The ideal candidate will have:

Significant experience with Calypso software in backoffice operations and configurations
Knowledge and understanding of backoffice operations systems
Experience with Linux (Red Hat Enterprise) system management
Handson experience with Linux scripting (Bash, Python) and SQL
Proficiency in using the command line interface
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Ability to work well in a team and contribute to team efforts
