_FT Associate Litigation Attorney (3 Yrs' Exp in Empt Law Preferred) _

Our business & employment law firm has quite a unique mix of clients that provide interesting cases. We are seeking a part or full-time attorney who is experienced in Plaintiff's employment law or willing to learn. Our offices are conveniently located in the golden triangle behind the La Jolla Marriott.

We are seeking someone well-spoken, professional, and who likes to learn (ie via Westlaw and CEB's OnLaw), with great research skills.

We are seeking someone who can work well without supervision. You should be motivated (we don't micromanage), a self-starter, and someone who can handle a fast-paced environment. We are happy to mentor and will take you to the next level.


The responsibilities include:

  • Drafting demand letters and complaints, as well as answering complaints
  • Propounding and responding to written discovery
  • Taking and defending depositions
  • Prepare and defend motions, as well as arguing them
  • Prep the docs for, and attending arbitrations and mediations
  • Prepare or respond to motions and argue them
  • Prepare cases for trial and most importantly
  • Provide our clients with outstanding customer service and communication.
Please submit a confidential cover letter telling us about yourself including your rate of pay and benefits required. Submit 3 writing samples (ie something you wrote yourself) including a complaint and arb/med/trial brief or something similar.


Pay:
$90, $160,000.00 per year
