Data is the lifeblood of every company, and the growth and diversity of data is immense. The goal is clear: to extract valuable business knowledge from this data treasure. Key performance indicators measure the performance of the company, individual products or production resources, create a picture of customers and business partners, and promise a decisive view into the future through predictive analysis and AI/ML. As a Data Analytics Consultant, you will navigate this dynamic field. Starting with the customer's knowledge needs, you will design suitable analytical data models, ensure efficient data storage, and provide appropriate query and evaluation options.

Challenging tasks await you:

Your focus is on the customer's knowledge needs, which vary depending on their business or technical/scientific goals. In addition, you gain clarity about the available data through data profiling.

In conceptual data models, you ensure the functional structuring of the data. For the subsequent implementation with Oracle database technologies, you use relational, multidimensional, hybrid, and for Big Data, NoSQL data schemas.

For data storage, you use Oracle databases, data warehouses, and data marts on-premises and increasingly autonomously in the cloud. Performance management applications are implemented based on Oracle Essbase. If necessary, you also use open-source products.
