Position Summary:

The Coordinator Advertising is responsible for planning and execution of brand enhancing advertising and events that support the company's business objectives to deliver gaming volumes, market share and return on investment through flawless execution and superior customer service.

In addition to the Marketing Department, this role will have strong relationships with members of the Sales, Finance, Player's Club, Food & Beverage, Facilities and EVS departments in addition to external agency personnel and vendors

Essential Job Functions:


  • Develops and manages the daily operation of advertising, media planning, public relations, community relations, and internal communications plans
  • Responsible for the development, management and implementation of advertising including, but not limited to, creative development, production, workflow, media planning, Internet channel, and strategic plan development
  • Interfaces with other department managers to manage activities that require advertising, as well as tracking results of all direct responseadvertising programs
  • Manages advertising agency relationships
  • Manages strategic marketing alliances including development and coordination with other department managers and execution
  • Steward of the Rivers brand managing usage, brand standards, and development of strategic marketing plans to enhance the brand
  • Assists in development of general marketing plans, operating reviews and consolidation of departmental marketing plans
  • Oversees property signage planning, development and execution

Qualifications:


  • College degree or other work or educational equivalent required
  • 13 years of relevant experience working in advertising, social media or a comparable marketing capacity
  • Outstanding organization skills are a must, as is the ability to actively manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously. Must thrive in a fastpaced, fluid environment
  • Strong desire to take accountability and have their performance measured on contribution to business results
  • Business intelligence, stays current and understands how what happens in the world affects us, our marketplace and our competition
  • Working knowledge of Google Suite

Working Conditions:


  • Work is performed both in an office and on the casino floor in a smokefree environment
  • Hours of work will vary based on the monthly marketing calendar and average at least 40 hours per week. Based on the promotion hours will vary between daytime and early evening hours, typically. Holiday and weekend work schedules will also vary
  • At times the Coordinator Promotions will be required to travel off property and execute events outside of the casino
  • Team members may be required to move and lift boxes and items up to 25lbs
