The successful candidate will need to hold relevant technical qualifications and experience that is required to carry out this role. Working to legislation and high standards, you will be required to manage all aspects of Workshop Operations, Health and safety and Environmental responsibilities.
Being responsible for the workshop building and equipment, you will also line manage a team of staff. Our workshop at Brimington is a DVSA approved MOT class 4,5, and 7 testing station and the successful candidate will be required to undertake the MOT test station managers training.
You will be committed to the delivery of a high quality, customer focused service with good communication skills to complete documentation, answer technical queries and provide technical support to others. This post requires the successful applicant to have the ability to be able to communicate fully in the role with clients/the public.
The workshop is operational from 06:00 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 06:00 -16:30 Friday. The new post holder will be required to work flexibly to meet the needs of the business.
Due to the nature of the work undertaken, the successful candidate will be required to undertake and pass a police security vetting check.
