Supplier Quality Engineer - Intermediate

Location:
Temecula, CA

Duration:

12 Months

Shift Timings:

8am to 5 pm

Job Description

Skills Looking For:
Supplier Quality Engineer.
Address material quality issues from suppliers (flex in dimensions, surface finish). Investigate these issues and solve them.
Exp in Root Cause Analysis.
CAPAs experience is required
Certification of being an Investigator is required.

If they already have them then it is a big plus, if not they must get it by attending the training that is available at the site.

Supplier change notices; when the supplier is changing in their manufacturing processes/material. Work with them on validation tasks and ensure that the changed component will work in our manufacturing process.
Problem-solving, Engineering background.
Project management skills, time management, and People's skills.
Med device background is a big plus and given preference. Other industries would be biotech backgrounds.

Education And Experience

Bachelor's degree required (Engineering degree)
3 to 5 years of experience.

May consider 2 years as well if they have core experience in Investigations, and CAPAs and are from the medical device industry.

Top Skills

Previous exp in Investigation, CAPAs in Med device.
Having a Certification as an Investigator is required. If they do not have it, they will need to first get their certification which is available at Abbott.
Project Management skills.
