Role:
Supplier Quality Engineer - Intermediate

Location:
Temecula, CA

Duration: 12 Months

Shift Timings: 8am to 5 pm

Job Description

Improve the quality of components from external suppliers through corrective actions.
Monitor and address supplier performance issues, manufacturing problems, and field failures.
Develop and maintain inspection procedures, train inspectors, and source inspection tools.
Assist in creating component specifications and oversee testing for product qualification.
Provide input on new component technology to Design Engineering, considering quality and reliability.
Analyze and address defects in incoming materials, communicate issues to suppliers, and review design specifications.
Investigate and address field failures related to supplier materials, creating corrective action plans.
Operate within a quality system environment to avoid regulatory non-compliance.

Requires a BS degree in engineering or related field with 5-8 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 0-2 years of experience.
