WHO we're looking for:


We are looking for a Network Tester (FIT) who will be responsible for providing live network performance test results and development support.

Including Pre-Launch testing of HW/SW, Post-Launch regression testing of HW/SW, and troubleshooting of device and network field issues with respect to the following technologies:
Digital(CDMA/PCS)/1x, EVDO Rev A, LTE, 5G NR.


Role and Responsibilities:


  • Testing QA specified field interoperability test plans (FIT).
  • Testing/troubleshooting hardware, software, embedded software used in wireless voice and data networking.
  • Performing sanity testing, stability testing, functionality testing, stress testing and feature testing on various devices.
  • Prepare test results data and writes required engineering reports to ensure products compliance with requirements and test plans.
  • Work effectively with team members.

Required Experience and Education:


  • Requires between 13 years technical or telecommunications engineering related experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in telecommunications or computer science related field.
  • Prior experience with
    CDMA, EVDO, LTE desired.
  • Prior experience with
    Qualcomm tools such as QXDM, QCAT, and QPST desired.
  • Prior experience with
    post processing tools such as WindCatcher, Actix, or XCAP-M desired.
  • Prior cell phone testing experience desired.
  • Previous experience with
    operating systems, such as: Windows, MAC, Linux.
  • Previous experience with Spirent/Metrico tools such as NOMAD, MUSE, and Datum is desired.
  • Previous experience running FIT test plans for Verizon, US Cellular, or other US NMO's is desired.

Specific vision abilities required by the job include ability to distinguish the nature of objects by using the eye.

Operate a computer keyboard and view a video display terminal between 50% - 95% of work time, including prolonged periods of time.

Requires considerable (90%+) work utilizing high visual acuity/detail, numeric/character distinction, and moderate hand/finger dexterity.


Performs work under time schedules and stress which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines, intellectual challenge, some language barriers, and project management deadlines.

May require working additional time beyond normal schedule and periodic travel.
