For our leading building materials company, we are looking for an apprentice building material tester (m/f/d) at our location in Ruedersdorf for our company CEMEX Zement GmbH, starting on September 1st, 2024.


Do you pay attention to detail and work with concentration? Are you interested in the practical application of science and technology? As an apprentice, you will learn how to take samples of our building materials and test them.

You will examine concrete, cement, and mineral raw materials using physical, chemical, and building material testing methods, both in the laboratory and on construction sites.


Your training will include:

  • Testing and controlling the quality of building materials, raw materials, and construction products
  • Preparing and producing samples
  • Measuring and testing materials for ingredients, composition, consistency, strength, and compatibility
  • Preparing test results for computer processing

We are looking for:

  • Minimum of a secondary school diploma or middle school diploma
  • Good knowledge of physics and mathematics
  • Manual dexterity and technical understanding
  • Reliable and responsible work style, as well as teamwork skills
  • Attention to detail and conscientiousness
