DESCRIPTION
Servpro of Stamford, serving the Fairfield County (Norwalk, CT) area is seeking an experienced Restoration Production Manager.

The Restoration Production Manager is responsible for managing a wide range of functions necessary to successfully obtain bid and price mitigation projects.

They are responsible for ensuring an accurate scope of work is created, delivering a consistent and complete work product, and maintaining a high quality of service in all dealings with project managers, customers, and resource providers involved in mitigation services.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

  • Review job scopes and estimates to ensure accuracy.
  • Supervise onsite crew, calculate equipment needs, and complete paperwork requirements for jobs.
  • Monitor jobs until completion (supervise team members and job progress; ensure that proper jobsite and employee appearance and behavior protocol is being followed)
  • Perform production work as needed.
  • Resolve problems quickly as they arise.
  • Perform daily walkthroughs on all jobs.
  • Complete job file documentation, including completion of time sensitive material.
  • Communicate job progress to appropriate parties (customer, office team, production team, management)
  • Communicate and establish rapport with commercial, insurance, and residential customers to effectively promote SERVPRO
    services.
  • Participate in, and contribute to, company meetings.
  • Manage production expenses including equipment, vehicles, and other material assets.
  • Contribute to safety and risk management protocol.
  • If not already IICRC certified must be able to obtain certification within the first six (6) months of employment

Production:
Project Management


  • Oversee scheduling of jobs, resources, and crews following SERVPRO production guidelines.
  • Work with office staff to schedule jobs and make changes to the schedule to ensure all jobs are completed in a timely manner.
  • Manage job file documentation.
  • Ensure all job files are accurate and complete in a timely manner.
  • Review all job paperwork (scope, estimate, job diary, and work orders) to ensure staff is ready to do the job efficiently.
  • Manage 'WorkinProgress' (WIP) jobs.
  • Coordinate performance of crews and communicate with office staff, ensuring crews work efficiently and maintain good communication.
  • Maintain communication with customers about the job to ensure expectations are met.
  • Remain up to date on all jobs in progress.
  • Manage and perform production activities (as needed).
  • Perform production work and job site documentation in the role of Crew Chief as needed.
  • Manage and monitor subcontractors.
  • Coordinate and monitor subcontract work, ensuring quality work is completed in a timely manner.

Production:
Production Staff Management


  • Confirm timecards are correct and submit to HR for accurate payroll processing.
  • Conduct and Manage Daily WIP (WorkinProgress) meetings to keep staff uptodate and coordinate resources for efficient production.
  • Inspect services and final walkthrough on jobs.
  • Achieve customer satisfaction by ensuring quality work is completed during and at the end of each job.
  • Train and develop production personnel (Field Crew Team Members).
  • Use recommended training programs to systematically train production personnel according to SERVPRO guidelines.
  • Manage production personnel.
  • Monitor performance of production staff, ensuring the work complies with SERVPRO policies, and correct or train, as necessary.
  • Assist with the annual evaluations process of production personnel.
  • Listen, review, and resolve conflicts between employees, as necessary.
  • Provide regular feedback on job performance, including scheduled performance appraisals.
  • Production: Jobsite/Employee Appearance by ensuring employees follow SERVPRO uniform policy.
  • Ensure that jobsites are left with a clean and orderly appearance.

Professional Development

  • Continue professional development of SERVPRO specific skills and expertise.
  • Constantly increase knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, technology, office procedures and marketing services to customers and COIs.
  • Continued personal development of management, teambuilding, and leadership skills.
  • Constantly increase knowledge and abilities in ways to better manage the team and build the business.

Finance:
Financial and Equipment/Asset Management


  • Minimize or eliminate having to pay for damaged property of customers by controlling damage reimbursement expenses
