The St. Joseph's Home is a facility for children, youth, and elderly care in Oildale, CA. Our unique feature is providing care for all three age groups under one roof.

Currently, we employ approximately 180 staff members in various areas of the facility and are supported by 50 volunteers in our important work.


In our therapeutic residential group in 82272 Moorenweis / Purk (near Fürstenfeldbruck), 9 children between the ages of 5 and 13 live.


We are currently seeking a Psychologist (m/f/d) for our Psychological Services department to start immediately or at a later date.


Tasks:

  • Diagnosis and therapeutic planning.
  • Documentation and report writing.
  • Crisis intervention and needsbased therapeutic intervention.
  • Counseling families in the spirit of a partnership in raising children.
  • Professional advice to management and group staff.
  • Facilitating case teams in consultation with management.
  • Participation in the admission process.
  • Support in the development of the concept.
  • Acting as a "experienced specialist" according to 8a SGB VII.

Qualifications:

  • Successfully completed degree in Psychology (Diploma, Master).
  • Professional experience and interest in working with exceptional children and complex family systems or support settings.
  • Enthusiasm for interdisciplinary networking.
  • Emotional resilience.
