Job Description

MBK Real Estate is hiring for a Director of Talent Acquisition located in Irvine, CA

Salary ranges from $150,000 - $160,000

Hybrid work schedule:
three days in the office, two days working remotely.


The Director of Talent Acquisition will be the visionary architect behind our quest for top-tier talent and shaping a new future for talent acquisition within our organization.

They will orchestrate the development of ingenious strategies and finely tuned processes, integrating cutting-edge AI technology to attract, cultivate, and retain a high-caliber talent pool.

We're looking for a trailblazer who can pioneer best practices and revolutionize our approach, particularly in navigating the intricate landscape of filling positions across six states and four divisions, where the pace is fast and the demands are high.


Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with leadership to align recruitment efforts with broader organizational goals and KPIs.
  • Hire, train, set performance goals and timelines, monitor performance, and provide coaching for the talent acquisition team.
  • Manage and mentor a team of recruiters and Talent Acquisition Specialists.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand departmental staffing needs and provide guidance on recruitment strategies.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle, including job posting, resume screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies, schools, associations, and vendors to support hiring needs as necessary.
  • Partner with marketing and communications teams to enhance employer branding efforts and attract top talent.
  • Analyze recruitment metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and optimize the hiring process.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations throughout the recruitment process.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.

Experience Requirements (in years):

  • Minimum of 810 years of experience in talent acquisition, with at least five years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful recruitment strategies in a fastpaced environment.
  • Experience managing a team of recruiters and driving performance to meet hiring goals.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations related to recruitment and hiring practices.
  • Experienced level of knowledge in all full lifecycle recruiting components including, but not limited to, sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing, work trends, and relationship management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Required Competencies/Licenses/Certifications:

  • Microsoft Suite competency.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute longterm recruitment strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Leadership: Capable of leading and motivating a team to achieve recruitment goals while fostering a positive work environment.
  • Problemsolving: Proficient at identifying recruitment challenges and developing creative solutions to overcome them.
  • Adaptability: Able to thrive in a dynamic environment and adjust recruitment strategies in response to changing business needs or market conditions.
  • Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills to assess recruitment metrics and make datadriven decisions to improve hiring efficiency and effectiveness.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  • Must be mobile and able to perform the physical requirements of the job, bending, kneeling, stooping, pushing, pulling and repetitive motion.
  • Ability to sit and work at a computer for long periods of time.
  • Able to move intermittently throughout the workday.
