    Job Summary: We are on the lookout for a highly motivated Reliability Engineer to become part of our client's team. The ideal candidate should have 4 years of experience in Reliability Engineering, predictive maintenance technology, planning & scheduling maintenance work, and examining defects and issues identified during maintenance activities.



    JOB PURPOSE:

    The Reliability Engineer plays a crucial role in implementing reliability best practices. This position involves evaluating new methods and technologies to enhance equipment reliability continuously.


    Key aspects of this role include:


    • Collaborating with plant teams to identify, evaluate, and implement reliability enhancement opportunities.
    • Analyzing equipment history to pinpoint reliability improvement chances.
    • Using root cause analysis methods on problems that have led to machine downtime or maintenance expenses.
    • Participating in equipment selection and deployment processes to ensure reliability principles are integrated into design and implementation.
    • Supporting Autonomous Maintenance processes by aiding in the design of operator tasks to maintain equipment condition and performance.

    Promoting the following reliability strategies:


    • Planned corrective maintenance is superior to reactive maintenance.
    • Condition-based maintenance is more effective than time-based preventive maintenance.
    • Preventive maintenance is the best comprehensive maintenance strategy.
    • Engaging in audits to measure progression in the reliability journey.
    • Utilizing reliability-centered maintenance principles to optimize equipment maintenance.
    • Serving as a subject matter expert on maintenance management systems.

    MAJOR DUTIES:


    • Leading the facility's RCA process and participating in failure analyses.
    • Interacting with reliability engineers from other plants to share findings and solutions.
    • Monitoring equipment performance for reliability improvement opportunities.
    • Utilizing defect information for maintenance optimization.
    • Assisting in equipment design and spare part reviews.
    • Identifying risks and proposing mitigation strategies.
    • Introducing tools for maintenance activities and monitoring performance.
    • Providing training and support for maintenance processes.
    • Driving proactive performance through supervision and scheduling.
    • Ensuring CMMS users are trained and auditing system utilization.

    KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE:


    • Degree in engineering with 5+ years of manufacturing experience focusing on reliability.
    • Knowledge of methodologies including FMECA, RCA, RCM, and TPM.
    • Experience with common predictive technologies like vibration and thermal analysis.
