Description

Responsibilities Include:


The purpose of this role is to insure our customers are receiving the correct product and quantity that they are being invoiced for.

Platform audits responsibilities consist of verifying individual pieces in random completed totes, checking for date code issues, miss-picks, UPC Errors, and overs/shorts.

Shipping audit responsibilities consist of verifying totes/boxes/cases on a pallet. Verify total quantities are accounted for, and no incorrect stores on the pallet. Internal audits involve auditing entire warehouse orders, including all pieces and quantities. Accuracy in this role is the key skill required.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Verify product UPCs, date codes, and quantities in each assigned order.
  • Must be versatile throughout all aspects of the Quality Control department
  • Attention to detail, resulting in proper reporting of findings for each audit
  • Timely audits and meet productive expectations
  • Maintain clean and safe work area
  • Required audits outside of Imperial warehouse, traveling to customer locations
  • Other duties as assigned

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Intermediate computer skills requiring ability to move through out multiple screens and internal programs.

Experience

  • Previous experience helpful, one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Mathematical Skills

  • Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
  • Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
