Key Responsibilities:


  • Conduct recruitment efforts; coordinate job postings, review resumes, perform reference checks, and coordinate interviews.
  • Implement and administer employee policies providing highquality advice and service to management on daily employee relations and performance management issues.
  • Support the HR department in implementing programs to help improve the employee experience.
  • Offer proactive recruiting assistance.
  • Identify ways to improve policies and procedures.
  • Prepare termination and severance letters.
  • Train and provide support to HR team members.
  • Manage staff training/development program.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Administer or change benefits, health plans, retirement plans, etc.
  • Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form.
  • Perform orientations and update records of new staff.
  • Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist.
  • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures.
  • Good knowledge of employment/labor laws.
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems (e.g., Paychex) will be a plus.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Aptitude in problemsolving.
  • Desire to work as a team with a resultsdriven approach.
  • Additional HR training will be a plus.

Pay:
$ $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

In person
