Responsibilities:


  • Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Register new patients and update existing patient information in the electronic medical records system.
  • Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits prior to appointments.
  • Schedule patient appointments and manage appointment calendars efficiently.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries promptly and courteously.
  • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and timely service.
  • Process patient payments and reconcile daily financial transactions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and data entry as needed.
  • Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines when handling patient information.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
  • Previous experience in medical reception, administrative support, or similar roles preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records systems is desirable.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and composure during stressful situations.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a patientcentric approach.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Pay:
$ $19.00 per hour
