Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens from patients
• Prepare and label specimens for laboratory testing
• Verify patient information and maintain accurate records of blood samples
• Follow proper infection control and safety protocols during phlebotomy procedures
• Provide exceptional patient care and ensure patient comfort during blood collection
• Assist with other clinical tasks as needed, such as taking vital signs or administering medications
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate specimen collection and timely delivery to the laboratory
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

• Previous experience working in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment
• Proficient in medical administrative support tasks, such as scheduling appointments or updating patient records
