About the Role:
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support:
- Handle general administrative duties, such as answering phones, checking messages, filing, and data entry.
- Prepare reports, presentations, proofreading documents, and correspondence as needed.
- Create and attend Zoom meetings, taking notes and assisting with any technical or administrative needs.
- Run errands as needed, including picking up lunch, coffee, or other items. Assist with miscellaneous tasks as they arise.
- Manage office supplies and ensure a wellorganized workspace.
Business Development:
- Assist with customer relationship management (CRM), including data entry, lead research, and maintaining client relationships.
- Support business development activities, such as preparing proposals and conducting market research.
Membership Support:
- Handle membership inquiries and communications for one of the businesses.
- Maintain member databases and ensure accurate and uptodate information.
Travel and Event Management:
- Organize and manage travel arrangements for the CEO.
- Organize and manage travel arrangements for travelers registered for the annual Leadership Tour of Uganda and the Transformational Tour of Ghana.
- Assist in organizing workshops, conferences, and tours, including logistics, attendee communication, and onsite support.
Personal Errands and Support:
- Assist with personal tasks and errands for the CEO, such as running errands, organizing personal appointments, and managing household matters.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
Mission Alignment:
- Collaborate closely with the CEO to support the overarching mission of the businesses.
- Seek personal development opportunities within the role to align with the selfdevelopment focus of the businesses.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a personal assistant or in a similar role.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
- Familiarity with CRM systems and business development processes.
- Discretion and trustworthiness, with a demonstrated ability to handle confidential information.
- Resourcefulness and the ability to anticipate needs and proactively address them.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to travel as needed for tours and events.
- Alignment with the mission and values of the businesses.
Additional Information:
