    The President will have full Profit and Loss (P&L) and operational responsibilities for the company. There are seven direct reports in Finance, Operations, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Human Resources. The President will create a long-term strategic plan to ensure continuous double-digit growth in revenues and profits. The President will recruit, train, and mentor an executive leadership team that will be capable of exceeding short-term and long-term plans. In this role, the President will develop at least two fully qualified back-ups that can lead the Company in the future. The President will create a continuous improvement, performance-based culture that consistently exceeds the expectations of their customers, employees, and owners'. The President will ensure that the company always operates in a safe manner and that they are following all applicable federal, state, and local requirements. The President is a visionary with strong communication skills and is exceptional at coaching, mentoring, and developing reports as well as a strong leadership team.

    Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create a vision and strategic plan to ensure long-term growth in sales and profitability.
  • Develop, train, hire, and mentor an executive leadership team that enables SFCB to consistently exceed their goals.
  • Train and mentor at least two leaders that are fully qualified job ready backups to be President at the company.
  • Create a continuous improvement, performance-based culture that ensures SFCB exceeds all of our customers, employees, and owners' expectations.
  • Ensure that monthly and yearly plans are exceeded and take proper actions when the desired results are not being attained.
  • Work with the executive leadership team to develop robust goals, strategies, and plans in each functional area to ensure that our annual plans and long-terms plans are being exceeded.
  • Ensure we have a safety-first culture and meet all federal, state, and local requirements.

  • Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably with an MBA if the bachelor's degree is not in business.
  • Successfully lead a company or a stand-alone business unit and have full P&L responsibilities. 1
  • 0+ years of progressively increasing executive responsibilities and skills.
  • Work experience in a union-free manufacturing company that is involved in multi-channel distribution of consumer products for the home that include big box retail, wholesale and eCommerce.
  • Developed strategies, as well as sales & marketing action plans to drive growth in core business while expanding into new categories and channels.
  • Successfully created and implemented short-term and long-term plans.
  • Previously hired, trained, and mentored a successful leadership team.
